2024 Speaker
Lindsey Schultz
CEO of MRC Recruiting
Lindsey never expected she’d wind up in the mining recruitment industry. Yet like many career journeys, hers took an unexpected turn when she began helping her father Robert at the family business, MRC Recruiting. Initially, Lindsey was assisting while studying human resources and organizational behavior in college —corporate life and mining weren’t much of a consideration then. Before she knew it, she was learning avidly about mining itself, meeting talented candidates for coffee, attending industry events alongside her father to grow her network, and really immersing herself in the industry. Eager to expand her skills, Lindsey obtained an MBA and certifications in Diversity & Inclusion and Organizational Effectiveness. Now under Lindsey's leadership, MRC Recruiting is a dedicated team offering personalized, ethical recruiting services rooted in diversity, transparency and sustainability values. She actively partners with organizations Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME), Women in Mining (WIM), Femina and the American Exploration & Mining Association (AEMA) to advocate for responsible and progressive mining practices. Ultimately, Lindsey recognizes that this industry plays an indispensable role in the world and positively impacts all our lives.
